I don't have any memory of that game.

The best defenses I can remember by decade were:

80s = Oklahoma 1985. The Boz years!!! Still my favorite LB ever for the college game.

90s = Nebraska 1995, Washington 1991

2000s = Ohio State 2002, Miami 2001, USCw 2008, Alabama 2009

2010s = nobody has stood out as a completely dominating defense.

You're forgetting the three co-GOATs, dumbass.

1992 Alabama
2011 Alabama
2011 LSU

I probably would not have thought as much about it except for knowing the QB that took the beating.

I agree with the defenses you listed. I had actually forgotten about the Washington squad...they were impressive.

The 2001 Miami squad was a better overall team than 2011 Bama but the two defenses can be compared. I still think the 2001 Miami team had a better def. but you acting like the '11 Bama defense is nothing is crazy. There are for sure the best in 2010s so far.
