Since Les Miles' arrival for the 2005 season:

Since their 2007 National Championship season:

Since their 2011 SEC Championship:

If we look at the initial graph, it doesn't appear to be anything more than normal fluctuation.

Perhaps the decline stigma is due to the proverbial wind being taken out of the sails following the rematch, and looking at the numbers produces some confirmation bias. Or, perhaps tDecline is real. I'm not sure if there's any way of knowing at this point.

Did you really make graphs?

Now make one to show the increase of LSU players in the NFL over that same time span

I applaud you for the time you took to go create some excel graphs regarding an opposing team.

Definitely doesn't come off as obsessed.

Well, since you've already invested this much time, can you do a Fourier analysis on this. I think you can generate a model for it, determine if/when the next championship run will be, and then bet the farm.

Need a bar graph breaking down top DC's that have left for in conference opponents.

OP, it isn't about the amount of time it took to do it, it is that you actually did it.

Classic statistical grah skewing. The numbers do not have a significant difference, and the graph contains a lot of white space between the individual numbers. Therefore, you are really stupid!

The decline started in the off-season after 21-0. A sportswriter wrote an article suggesting that LSU would going into decline in the coming years. Tiger Rant went nuts over the article and then the SECR piled on. The author has been 100% correct. Obviously there is a bottom at some point but nothing can happen at this point that would invalidate the writer's prediction.

So yes there is and has been a decline as described by the original prognosticator.

So much rationalization. So much imaginary hopefulness.
