She had sense enough to go get her kid and drag his arse back home when he was as much in danger as the people he was throwing shite at. If we had more parents like that, we'd probably have less kids getting shot in the street by other kids and cops alike. So yes, kudos to her.

It is a double standard. But I know that my Dad would absolutely go down there and beat my arse for acting like that as a teenager. And while he'd get blasted in the media, I'd be the better for it and so would the people I was harassing. Part of the reason I never did anything like that as a kid was because I knew the arse beating I'd have coming, from my Dad, if I did.
