The camera angle was a few degrees right of 2nd base. Of couse it "looked" out by that angle. It would have "looked" to be right down the middle if the camera angle was a few degrees left of 2nd base. It would seem the ump was in the better position to see if the pitch was a ball or strike than the tv viewers with a skewed camera angle.

The strike wasn't "given" to Strall and the ump didn't blow the call. It was a beautifully thrown strike, and the aggie choked...period.

The LSU 3rd base coach also stated he saw the ball hit near the 3rd base bag - in fair territory - , and the SECOND bounce of the ball was foul, but it first hit FAIR.

The Aggie who "choked" at the end should have been swinging at a ball like that.
