Every coach from 9 years old and up says to the batter you have to swing at that. Making it obvious you stopped at coaches pitch.

The camera angle was a few degrees right of 2nd base. Of couse it "looked" out by that angle. It would have "looked" to be right down the middle if the camera angle was a few degrees left of 2nd base. It would seem the ump was in the better position to see if the pitch was a ball or strike than the tv viewers with a skewed camera angle.
The strike wasn't "given" to Strall and the ump didn't blow the call. It was a beautifully thrown strike, and the aggie choked...period.
