Would love to have him. Coker couldn't beat out Blake Sims. Enough said.

Why are you so sure Braxton is a better QB than Blake?
I feel way more confident that Blake could put up numbers in Urban's system than Braxton in Alabama's.

If the staff brought him in they feel he is needed. I am still not sold on Coker and am starting to think with the transfers last year, Morris not an option, Cornwell coming off injury, and Bateman not ready that Coker was brought to be the backup behind Sims.
The big QB battle last year seemed to be manifested by the fans and sports site trying to create some drama or fans not trusting in one or the other to get the job done. But from A-Day on I do not think there was ever a question that Sims was not going to be the starting Q.
This spring it seemed the staff was pushing Cornwell to be the starter and I would be happy with that because we would have someone back there for a few years. And I know I will get bashed for this but if Coker could not beat out Sims last year I do not see our season ending much better unless the D is on par with 09, which is very possible. Sims was limited at his ability at QB but played harder than any QB under Saban in my opinion and had a drive about him that made him special, but we need a true QB back there and an athlete or QB with limited abilities. I am in that camp that I do not see Coker as the answer and I am not saying Miller would be either.
I hope in the end Cornwell is the starter.
