He's one guy. Even stipulating he can play C for the whole year (he can't), that's one player at C. At most, he and Nikko are spell guys at C. 10-15 mins total at most.

Yes. One elite HS recruit and a guy who's still in the league a decade later. Smith and Nikko ain't that. Come on man. You're smarter than that.

Actually someone with as much athleticism as smith helps a player who is 6'10 playing the wing much better than a center who clogs the lane

I doubt their the only centers on the roster next year. If Mizzou has Knox, MPJ, & Barnett getting the majority of the minutes then Smith, Puryear and Nikko will be passable as the 5.
Smith probably compares to Bowers in that if he gets his weight/strength up he can be a very good college player.
