Umm no Auburn hired a security service to watch players.

Setting quotas aren't the only thing the Auburn Police Division is accused of doing. NBC-38 obtained documents from Hanners detailing the enormous resources solely into making sure Auburn University football players meet curfew.
"It was called the AU overtime detail," Hanners said. "What it was telling us was that we would come in plain clothes and unmarked cars and we would be assigned to different apartment complexes that football players lived at. We were told that some of these areas would have allied barton security officers.

You are a tricking moron just like the majority of Georgia fans. Where does that article say anything about the police turning a blind eye to any crimes by Auburn football players? I didn't read any such reports.
I don't think you want get into a debate about every statement being true anyway considering some of the things people have said about Georgia over the years

You have the cutest inferiority complex when it comes to Georgia
Posted on 4/19/15 at 1:31 pm to tylerdurden24
Why am I supposed to feel inferior to Georgia fan? I can't even think of a single reason. OTOH, all you mutts whining about Auburn Is 100 percent based on jealousy because most of you have likely seen Auburn win more championships during the last 5 years than you have seen your own team win during your entire lifetime

Do you still have a shrine dedicated to Jan Kemp?

Well, if police officers are paid to provide special attention to football players to keep them out of trouble, it raises the question of conflict of interest, does it not?
I wonder how it would be perceived if a citizen paid local law enforcement to make sure his errant son stayed out of trouble.

When a city enacts a curfew as several have done over the years, who do you think would enforce it? I believe it is usually the local police unless the job is so big they have to call in the national guard. Maybe your dumbass can explain how the police simply enforcing a curfew equals a conflict of interest

Oh yeah, if Georgia could hire a private security firm or get the local police to help enforce a curfew, maybe you could go at least one whole year without finishing in the top 10 or top 15 of the Fulmer Cup

I never said you were supposed to. That's for you to reconcile within yourself. Maybe go on a spirit quest or something

My reading of the article is that Auburn police were being paid overtime to specifically watch Auburn football players, not to enforce a curfew on the general population. Special attention to keep a special group from getting into trouble, not to enforce the law.
I fail to see how that would be different from the town council paying local law enforcement overtime to watch their kids and make sure they stayed out of the news. I can certainly see how that might have the desired effect in various ways.

Not just the Cup, they won the Switzer Slam.

Go trick yourself. Georgia is the school who let a kid named Brandon Williams return to their football team after he had been arrested for rape a few years ago.
You DO know he was acquitted, right?

And Auburn broke the record for most Fullmer points in a single year.
