He's lost games he shouldn't have lost (Vandy '13, UF '14) and won games he shouldn't have won (USC '13, '14). He's came close to beating a significantly, at the time, more talented team in UGA, both years. He's had some blowouts (Oregon '13, Oklahoma '14, Ole Miss '14). These are just off the top of my head. Overall, as of right now from what I've seen, I think he's an average in-game coach. But, he steadily will win 8-9 games a year because he's not awful and will have top 5-10 talent every year. I would bet that he will win an SEC East championship while he's at Tennessee. That's not much to some of you, but it'd finally be nice to win something of significance, considering we haven't since '07. Could he could win an SEC title and get into the CFB Playoff? Sure. Are the odds against him? Of course.

That's a pretty damn good honest assessment
