Killing? Wouldn't go thar far. But I wouldn't say it's good for it. Even if it has a very small negative effect

The only negative side effect I could see from it is programs that use them have to bring in new playmakers every year to make up for the loss. As a whole I don't see how it's an issue for the game as a whole.
