LSU had arguably the greatest regular season in CFB history in 2011 outscoring 13 opponents 500-123.
Of those 13 opponents, 8 were bowl teams, 3 were ranked in the Top 3 during the season, and 5 were ranked in the Top Ten during the season. Only 1 team got within 14 points of LSU that year. LSU scored 40+ points SEVEN times on this murderous schedule.
Bama's SOS didn't even come close to either LSU's or Okie State's in 2011.
My second and third paragraphs have nothing to do with flaming, trolling, 'opinion' etc. They all HAPPENED...
It's shamefully unfortunate that #1 LSU was forced to not only play Top Ten Georgia in the SECCG, but that we were forced to play the THIRD PLACE SEC team in the BCSNCG, when another team had a much stronger SOS and actually won their conference - 2 SUPPOSED criteria for the BCS formula !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (not that we would DEFINITELY have beaten Okie State.)
My question - Why oh why even PLAAAAAAAAYYYY an SECCG that year ????????????????????????????????????
Yes you're right, I'm still mad and 'butthurt' over that every time someone brings it up- you're DAMN right.....

In defense of Bama's sos...Penn State was 8-1 and ranked #12 before Sanduskygate.
And before you bring it up, the Oklahoma State women's hopscotch team plane crash or whatever isn't the same.

Do you have any anger/irritation for CLM and his inability to gameplan for the re-match with Bama? It seemed like Les refused to strategically change a damn thing from his gameplan in the 1st matchup, resulting in a humiliating loss on the biggest stage.
Since that perfect regular season in '11, LSU has added an SEC loss each year 2011 8-0, 2012 6-2, 2013 5-3, 2014 4-4.......

Waaaaaaah. The BCS had a process in place and it worked through it. Win your championship game and you wouldn't have to worry about it, you bunch of pussies.
