I agree they should be able to show it due to freedom of expression, but it honestly wasn't that great of a movie. Very rough around the edges, including the obviously fake baby in one of the scenes.

I haven't seen it, so I'm not commenting on the quality of the film, at all. But this is pretty much in line with most of the criticisms lobbed at Eastwood's directorial work. I've read before that studios love him because his movies are always on time and usually under-budget. Not to say that he takes shortcuts, necessarily, but he has a reputation for filming five takes when another director may do 10, for instance.
