if the definition of screwing him around means he was the highest paid DC in the SEC (until Muschamp arrived) and had struggled almighty for THREE straight years at his job yet demanded top pay with no interference then yes, he was screwed around. LSU's defense being the top rated in the SEC in '14 is a joke. our D was blown out by 3 SEC teams last year and completely dominated by Notre Dame. yes, Chavis is pretty damn good at defending most spread teams as evidenced by how you aggies have been dominated but power teams will crush him. and power teams will crush y'all too. LSU, of course, is a power team and we will blow up your front 7.
