I am sending my kid to Catholic school. I do not trust public schools, especially the one I work at

i love the public school my son's at. however, it's an hour long process to drop off and pick up every day. we're also transferring out of temple to Belton currently and i will have to pay 2x the transfer fee when my youngest gets there next year

i travel for a living. why not take them with me?

The school I work in has major issues and since it is a border town, there is a culture of well craziness. The divide of incomes is either very wealthy to very poor, no middle ground.

To prevent the "segregation" they have made no neighborhood schools and lumped all the kids into pre k-k, 1-2, 3-4, intermediate, middle, then high school.

There are drug issues at all schools but SRO's have no control over it. I know most of the kids at the intermediate that are having trouble, since I see them in my job.

Due to that I am sending my kid to Catholic school and also I like the structure of the parish and its school.
