This. The resident trolls and Bama homers are both way left and right of center. It's a TBD hire in terms of the actual program's success (5/10), but a great hire in terms of fan excitement (9/10).

I think the majority of the Bama fanbase thinks this. We all know that coaching hires are all TBD including Avery Johnson.

Honestly, I thought Grant was a homerun if any. However, he failed in the personality/excitement factor.

I appreciate your post being level headed, but still, y'all are so wrong here.

Alabama has been to the tourney 1 time since 2006. And this was a bad hire?!

I agree. Could turn out to be great or bad. Right now he's an unknown at the college level. Looks like he's getting their fan base excited which means a lot.
