Measles is a contagious disease. In developed countries I would argue it's not AS serious. How many deaths in the US from Measles since 2000? Still think people should get the vaccine, but i think the fear mongering on both sides of this debate is pretty crazy. When the outbreak in Disney happened. Thousands upon thousands (tons of kids) visited the park and only 131 people were infected mostly those who were unvaccinated. Parents of kids who are too young/cant be vaccinated should be careful of the situations they introduce their kids to. i.e. If my son had an autoimmune deficiency I dont think I'd be taking him to Disney.

Measles is still common in many developing countries – particularly in parts of Africa and Asia. The overwhelming majority (more than 95%) of measles deaths occur in countries with low per capita incomes and weak health infrastructures.
