Yall are the biggest bunch of bitches I've ever seen. Get off your high horse. Alabama basketball has made the Elite 8 ONE TIME. We're not a powerhouse. You're all writing this guy off because he's won in a bad conference. That's just retarded.

No one has said we are, but we are trying to get there. You don't start that process by getting a coach just because he has some ties to your university.

I agree. I feel like I'm going "crimson crazy" with all of these people acting like we are some kind of super attractive coaching job. See what I did there?

I'll get behind the guy 100% if he ends up being our coach. I haven't written him off, but if I'm making a hire, I want the guys with the best resume. He has little experience and NONE at the major level. He's not my choice, but if he ends up being the guy, he has my support.
Anyone that ends up being the guy has my support...
...besides Rick Stansbury. I'll riot by myself if I have to if that happens.

We just offered $4 million a year for a coach. Following that up by hiring Prohm is settling when just yesterday we were swinging for the moon. What has changed in our approach? Just because our main target said no, we should just hire someone who isn't close to that level? It's a weak approach.

yeah most of these guys probably haven't even supported Alabama basketball or been to a game in Coleman in years.
I would rather have a coach who has the connections and has experience running and building a program, than some assistant at major program some people suggest.
Had Murray St won the OVC tournament (16-0) in conference I wonder if these same people shooting him down would feel the same way had he won a game or 2 in the NCAAT....even though he still played in a weak conference.
