Shaka Smart has turned down major jobs before. But he's being paid like he's at a high profile P5 school. Just like Marshall.

ETA: Few has turned down some major offers as well, reportedly.

Shaka Smart's guaranteed salary is $1.45 mill.

Shaka is just waiting for a top tier program. He is young and he is playing the game the right way. He hasn't just jumped at the first school to up his salary.

Oh I know. But unless something has changed, it looks like Shaka might end up at Texas. He was waiting on the right job. Which is the same thing I'd think Marshall is doing, and Bama wasn't that for him. Which was essentially my point.
