That's what I'm saying. That's what they DL in DV cases.

Back in the 90's, Alabama passed a law that would allow LE to make arrests in DV violence cases without the victim pressing charges, if there were evidence of physical harm.
DV is one of the most dangerous situations for officers. Many times, once an arrest is realized, the victim tries to recant and turns on the officer as well.
