Was just on the radio on sirius. Quotes from a poster on our board.
"I think you have obviously Coach Cal and Donovan who are 1 and 2. You can rank them either way without much argument from me. Then you have in my mind Ben Howland as the third best coach in the league. He's a guy whose been to three final fours and did a great job at Pitt. You have Bruce Pearl and Rick Barnes, another final four guy who wins everywhere he goes, they're fourth and fifth. That's quite a top five. When Mike Anderson is arguably your league's sixth best coach and Frank Martin is seventh you are becoming dangerous as a league. That's not even including Kevin Stallings, Mark Fox and Andy Kennedy who I think are very good coaches as well. Billy Kennedy and Johnny Jones have shown they can bring in players, too.
If you add a Gregg Marshall to this league I think you could make an argument that it's the best collection of coaches in America."

Fwiw I probably rank them
1. Donovan
2. Cal
3. Pearl
4. Howland
5. Barnes
6. Anderson
7. Kennedy
8. Martin
9. Stallings
10. Fox
11. Jones
12. Kennedy
13. Anderson
With Bama's hire TBD. I would slide Marshall in at 3 though.

Hard to disagree, if Greg Marshall comes in it wont be long until the SEC owns both the football and basketball worlds. IMO

Frank Martin is overrated. He hasn't done anything at USC.

Yeah, I think I'll take Davis' opinion over yours.

I will fight you IRL. Our coach is 14th and you're not taking that away.

... says the obviously biggest know-nothing frick in the history of the SECr - and that's saying something.
Sheeeesh ... lulz at you "ipodking." I mean seriously, "iPod King?" You're king of the iPods?
Dicks like you didn't survive past 16 back in the good old days. Now you're iPod Kings!
lmao!

Just because he has a disease doesn't make him a worse coach.

Well it will make him worse over time, but the problem is, and this is the key point, he really sucks dick regardless.

I'm not a huge Kennedy fan, but at #8, el oh fricking el.
-Worst facilities in the SEC, by a mile.
-No program history
-7(Ole Miss only has 14 in program history) 20-win seasons in only 9 seasons(one of the seasons was a 19 win season, the other was a 16 win injury-plagued season).
-Just the fourth coach in SEC history with 45 or more wins in his first two years.
-2 NCAA Tournaments
-SEC Tournament Championship(one of only two in OM history)
-SEC Coach of the Year
-2 SEC West Championships
Again, all in the Tad Pad. Lol at #8.

I would move a lot of people ahead of Martin. Not Jones and not Kim Anderson and maybe not A&M's coach. But everyone else.
