Coming from the team that was 1-3 against the Jefferson/Lee combo?
Did Auburn have Will Muschamp then? Did LSU win in spite of those two players the vast majority of the time (the answer is yes, BTW)?

And what data did you use to formulate this conclusion?
His time at Clemson. His game against West Virginia. How he was basically demoted at Alabama.

In all seriousness, how do you realistically feel about the transition from the Marshall-Mason-CAP offense to the Johnson-Duke-Coates offense?
Well, Sammie Coates is gone.

Other than that, you saw what the offense could be in game 1 of 2014.

So your logic is to take Auburn, who over the past 4 years is 1-3 against LSU, and to add Will Muschamp, who over the past 4 years is 1-3 against LSU, and this will somehow result in reversing the trend of losing to Les Miles?

The record against Jefferson/Lee pretty much speaks to refute any argument by Auburn that QB play will keep us from beating y'all again this year.

1) At Clemson, Steele put together Top 20 Units in 2009-10 before a huge drop-off in production on the DL when DaQuan Bowers and Jarvis Jenkins went pro.

2) In 2011, Clemson allowed WVU to gain 443 yards on 74 plays.
In 2011, LSU allowed WVU to gain 533 yards on 87 plays.

3) In 2008, Alabama was coming off of probation and scholarship limitations. I don't think it's really fair to judge his defense in that year to the same standard as is the norm.
