I understand V&S. It's hard to cope with mediocrity for 17 years. Hey, take it from Alabama. Until 2009, we also went through 17 years of inconsistent winning and awful losing seasons. Makes the return all the sweeter.

Yes, but even when you win, you're still a Bammer. That kind of takes the edge off the victory.
