Marshall met with Alden. We offered him a significant amount of money. The rumor is that his wife and son were allowed a part of the decision and asked to stay in Wichita as it was the son's senior year.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he moves in the next 2-3 years. But it wasn't happening last year, despite Alden's poor read of the process.

You are the person who is stuck in this thread being dumb. Auburn really has nothin to do with whether bama can get a big name coach and you only bring it up because you have no legitimate argument.

If you are talking about financial resources, that point is also highly debatable given that the current CEO of Apple is an Auburn grad and the only Alabama family to ever be named to Forbes list of wealthiest Americans are also Auburn people
