What you and most of the Bama fans are missing, is the fact that Gottfried did something that other coaches failed to do after being fired. He goes and immediately takes a major job in a better Conference and wins at a consistent level. The other coaches have not done anything to disprove that their firing was unjustified. Every win by MG in the tourney, is an "in your face" statement to Bama's PTB and Paul Finebaum. I wonder if he talks about that tomorrow ?

He also walked into a situation where he had a lot more talent than he left Alabama with.

Finebaum maybe since he did give him a ton of shite. I think Mark Gottfried understands why he is not at Bama anymore because of his mistakes and is thankful for the wake up call. I would give a speech about the tapestry of life that is woven and how going on a different path leads to a different result but at this point I just think you are being purposefully obtuse.
