God, y'all have excuses for days. Pathetic.

What was UGA's average recruiting ranking compared to Tech's? As to MSU's "grueling SEC schedule" ... they had a month to rest and prepare, just like most of the SEC West. Was that the excuse this year for the whole division? Thankfully Arkansas kept y'all from being completely shut out, lol.

We're usually in top 8-12... thats why we get results like this....
quote:

Per decade... UGA vs GT...
................ W...... L ...... T .....
2010's ..... 4..... 1.... 0
2000's..... 8 ..... 2 ..... 0
1990's..... 7..... 3 ..... 0
1980's ..... 7 ..... 3 ..... 0
1970's ..... 7..... 3 ..... 0
1960's..... 6 ..... 4 ..... 0
1950's..... 3 ...... 7 ..... 0
1940's ..... 6 ..... 4 ..... 0
1930's..... 5..... 2..... 3
1920's..... 2..... 3 ..... 0
1910's..... 4..... 2 ..... 1
1900's..... 2 ..... 5 ..... 1
1890's..... 3 ..... 1 ..... 0

And how many national titles do you have to show for it? We currently have 4.

Both points you raise are irrelevant and short term thinking.

Put GT in Mizzou 2015 schedule and how many W and L they got?

Dude, living in the past. We get it GT was a powerhouse. The only people that recognize this have gray hair and fought in WW II.

Your average high school football prospect does not care about this.

6-6

You could go to the toilet bowl with that record.

On a neutral field (bc I don't know Mizzou 2015 schedule)

I'd give Tech:

FLORIDA - L

GEORGIA - L

KENTUCKY - coin flip

SCAR - coin flip

TENNESSEE - L

VANDY - w

SEC West - L, L

What you got?

More recent natty than UGAg, appearance in a NY6 bowl the first year of the playoff system ...

When was Ole Miss' last championship in any sport of relevance? Hell, when did y'all last even get a sniff at one?

So we each have one National Championship since the Civil Rights Act was passed. Whip-dee-dang-doo.

Hey, congrats on your double overtime squeaker victory over Georgia last season. It was truly an epic win.

But let's not get carried away, shall we? You barely beat a down Georgia squad with Paul Johnson's best GT team yet. This may continue, but it's not too bloody likely given the history of Richt and Johnson, so ... slow your roll a bit.

Thanks in advance.

Well, we beat UGAg so, you may want to at least rethink that one in your hypothetical "Tech v. Mizzou's schedule"

We both have 2 since 1929...

UGA '42 & '80...

NATS '52 & '90...Your 1917 & 1928 titles are nice but carry as much weight as Yale & Princeton NC's in the teen's & twenty's do today...

Both have 1 each since integration which is considered the start of modern football, & your '90 NC(UPI) was a split NC with Colorado(AP) whereas UGA was both the AP & UPI NC in '80....

Even a "down" Georgia team is down with a top-10 recruiting class. How bad does that suck?

OK. Swap GT and Miss.

GT becomes Vandy of SEC West (sorry Vandy fans)

Two freak fumbles inside the 2 yd line with RB's going in for long scores = the double OT upset...Y'all upset us every 8-10 years, congrats. It'll happen again one of these days...

Hey, with your recruiting, we shouldn't win a game and y'all should have at least two more trophies in the case. It's really messed up that you don't.

Not near as bad as a "down" tech squad. Talk about true suckage. When you g*ys are bad, it's truly New Jersey sewage bad.

We havent had a truly "down" year in two decades. Lot of mediocre years though, true. Y'all found your next savior QB/RB yet?
