It is hard for UAB supporters - for city of Birmingham supporters - to look to Tuscaloosa and the Board of Trustees (the board of distrustees, as they have come to be known) and not burst into flames.

They've heard taped conversations of how UAB's athletic department had to secretly run coaching decisions by trustees Paul Bryant Jr. and Finis St. John. They have heard former UAB Athletics Director Brian Mackin acknowledge on tape - he didn't know he was being taped, apparently - that Bryant has nothing but contempt for UAB football. They've seen the trustees' fingerprints at the scene of crimes too often.

But again, this is proving nothing and it is a done deal anyway. Not even that mad about it, just wish some UA fans would acknowledge UAB got a raw deal --- but I guess that is wishful thinking.
