I give props to the Bama posters who are at least saying Bruce played a small factor in the decision...I agree.
I'm laughing at the poster who said Grant dominance over Pearl made it harder to pull the trigger on him...right.

They're wrong. He had been at Bama for 6 years and made the tournament 1 time. That was 100% the reason he was fired.

Those posters are wrong. Winning 3 games in the SEC tournament isn't that impressive, especially since 2 of those 3 were MSU and Texas A&M. The bottom line is that Grant had been here 6 years and we really hadn't made any progress. We gave him plenty of time and it just wasn't working. A change needed to be made regardless of what anyone else in the conference was doing.
