Bo excelled in football and baseball.


Herschel was better in football, was also a world class sprinter (actually set a world record that was eventually broken), an olympic medal winning bobsledder, and as mentioned is an undefeated MMA fighter.


It is undeniable that Bo was extremely good at both sports he played. But to say he was the best "athlete" because of that is a little disingenuous. Herschel was involved in more sports at just as high (or some cases, much higher) level.

Are we not counting his track accomplishments anymore? If so, why?

I believe Bo had more God-given talent, but Herschel did more with what he was given. If Bo had not of got hurt, there is no telling what he would of done. I loved to watch him crank a baseball. Highly doubtful anyone will ever do what these two did.
