Not suprises by your response since A&M is ranked higher tan Auburn.

Slightly ahead. We're about #15 in all time wins, but the current allocation of resources is NOTHING like it was even just 5 years ago, much less 40 years ago. We were such a small school LSU wouldn't even travel to play us; we had to play them in LA pretty much every year, or the occasional neutral site.

Given current resources, fanbase, and recruiting base, I think A&M is ranked fairly accurately.

Exactly. It is more an indication of where we will be the next decade.

Outside of lucky hires (the Pinkel's of the world) you are as good as your job is.
