re: The true size of Africa

I actually read some Thomas Sowell writings that made a strong argument that the lack of development and problems in Africa had a lot to do with a lack of navigable rivers compared to Europe and North America. Another argument is the lack of animals capable of domestication.

It's a big and amazing continent but outside of a few pockets of prosperity it is just one big dumpster fire.
