This is why I get such a kick out of people who called him "courageous" for coming out. I mean it was 2014, not 1914. He did not risk being tortured or lynched. Instead he transformed himself from a marginal talent with zero chance at NFL success into a millionaire with international fame based solely on his sexuality. How was that courageous?
