People would cringe at how much "text lingo" has bled over into writing for kids, especially teenagers who are at the age where they've been texting for several years now. 2 for to, cuz for cousin, etc.

It's a product of the evolution of technology. I know that languages are constantly changing because of influences in societies but the blazing speed of technological developments seems to be corrupting English, especially, into something that is frequently difficult to understand.

I can't print fast at all, and it looks kinda bad.

My cursive looks bad too, but it's all I've ever written and it's faster because you don't have to pick up the pen as much.

I learned in 3rd grade. I'm under 30.
