re: Cool, off-the-beaten-path towns within the SEC footprint

Some of these places have already been mentioned but to me food is one thing that makes a place memorable. Here are a few places I'd go just for the food.

Apalachicola, FL: Ira's at Gibson Inn
Greenwood, MS: Delta Bistro
New Braunfels (Gruene), TX: ClearSprings Restaurant, Gristmill, Gruene River Grill
Chattanooga, TN: Maple Street Biscuits
