Why are you arguing about this? You might think the Jackson area has a good deal of LSU fans, but, of course, State and Ole Miss fans dwarf them. It's not about LSU being better than them or any of that. It is a Mississippi based show in Mississippi. Our world here doesn't revolve around you beloved Tigers. God forbid a Mississippi sports radio host talk mostly about State and Ole Miss. If I lived in New Orleans, Monroe, or anywhere in Louisiana I would expect they'd talk mostly LSU. I listen to WWL 870 and have over the years. Even in the crappy 90's they talked almost all LSU. Why you say? It is in LOUISIANA!

There are better programs than LSU. The topic at hand is a Mississippi radio program discussing an out of state school. They shouldn't and hopefully they will not. The majority in this state want news about Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
In the modern world, I am sure there is an internet radio station with LSU programming. Go find it.

However, my response was to the Ole Miss guy who said LSU has been a mediocre program subsequent to 2009. He went on to brag about the Mississippi schools being elite in football, and inferred they were better in baseball as well. I was simply pointing out that LSU has won more than almost every other program since 2010...while he is calling LSU mediocre and Ole Miss elite.
Again, I have no problem with him talking about Ole Miss and Miss State...that wasn't the point of the post. The point was he brags about the two schools and compares them to OTHER top programs in the SEC, BUT will not include LSU....clearly, LSU has been a top program in sports, and it's obvious he has some hatred and is intentionally leaving them off. I couldn't care less if he didn't talk about LSU on his show otherwise....just saying he should at least be objective. I'm out now, back to a decent site....lol.

I honestly haven't listened to him enough to form this type of opinion...but, yes, he does come across as some of that. I like sports radio, but it isn't a show I'd listen to with other options available. I keep hearing him talk about the Magical season the teams had...and I think, well yeah, for them...but 3 and 4 loss seasons are disappointments for the true elite SEC schools.
