Are we even gonna make the tournament now? After the big road win over Tamu last week we were talking being a possibly 6 seed. Now we don't even know if this team will make the tournament.
A loss like this hurts bad and it'll be interesting to see how our team responds going forward.
Out of all the games we had left this was the one that I was most certain we'd come out with a win. Now, I dont even know if we'll make it without breaking even in conference play

Yes we will make the tournament, so long as we beat Carolina and take 1/3 against OM, UK, and Bama (a win over UK obviously making us a stone cold lock). Can't afford another bad loss, though, or else we'll be on the bubble with LSU.

Mizzou is easily the loss we can't afford and they should be an auto W. Of course, that's only given if we have a consistent team and this is NOT a consistent team. Don't lose at Auburn, don't lose to Mizzou, and don't lose to Carolina and we'll be fine.

3-3 down the stretch and we should be safely in. I really like our chances of getting one at Bama too. I'm hoping for 4-2 but at least winning 3 from the stretch of SC & MU at he steg and @Bama, @Auburn.

The rule for UGA sports is it's never as good as you hope and it's never as bad as it seems.

that our team is not nearly as good as we hoped they would be. I just don't get it. They lose to a terrible SC team on the road and then lose at home to of all teams, fricking Auburn. Just makes me sick. If I had to pick one team that we need to beat consistently, it's Auburn. So tired of them taking recruits from our back yard.

This team could be scary good if all of our pieces would play consistently.

The USCe one isn't as bad as you'd think given that we didn't have Thornton and it was on the road. The RPI reflects that.

It's not over. The sky isn't falling. A loss to USCe on Tuesday night, then it would be over. UGA gonna have to do some soul serchin' after this one. Too many mistakes down the stretch. A team like ours, who generally defends really well, sucked the sweat off a donkey's balls today. Really shitty defensive performance. JJ also needs to shoot the god damn ball when he's open. Bad day in the steg... bad day.

It was a suck arse ending to a pretty good day. Hit the baseball game 1st (Foley & the baseball team look pretty good) then the BB game. Great loud crowd looking for reasons to erupt & we tried to make a difference all game to no avail...
Feelin' pretty let down cause I thought It'd be great for my grandson to see us kick arse in both of the BB's. Miserable, miserable loss, no way to spin this one....
I bought in & we're doing a 110 miles each way today. A win woulda got me & the folks like me back to Athens at least one more time for a game this year...
Another missed chance to start to build some excitement & support for the BB program...
It was Auburn for Christ's sake...

Same old UGA basketball. I'm more excited about Baseball, in which we will actually eventually have a shot at a national title once we return to par for the program's history.
UGA basketball will never get beyond the first couple of rounds of the tourney and we all know it.

Uh yeah... we all know this. I would be happy with an invite... I would be ecstatic as hell if we made it beyond the 1st couple of rounds of the NCAAT.

Did the same and it ended up being a pretty nice day for watching the Diamond Dawgs and parking wasn't much of an issue...late arriving crowd at Stegman but the crowd was primed for the game and we freaking came out flat and blow it.
I will get back up to Foley this spring...the place looks amazing after the renovation.

Bump
Our best bet from here on out is to lose out and Fox gets a boot up his arse.
