Not sure how much of a pay cut it would be, NBC network analyst may not pay that much, but hell maybe they do. Really comes down to if he wants to talk about it or get back in it. With no coaching experience it would be a helluva a way to start.

I would love to see it, a future NFL Hall Of Fame member on the recruiting trail - you bet. And our receivers would be difference makers in a lot of areas.

It sounds nice, but he would have to sell parents that he will look after their son and steer him on the right path for as long as he is at the school. I think that's a huge part of recruiting.

ETA: Not saying he couldn't do that by any means. Just saying having a possible NFL HOFer of staff doesn't mean he would be an ace recruiter.
