I don't think you know what a legacy is.

Chavis told recruits he was coaching for 15 more years before retiring. Are you saying he is a liar?

It is usually what happens when you start a troll thread....people retaliate.

If he really told them that...absolutely he lied.

Not one person in the world can say with even relative certainty what they will be doing in 15 years.....but I can guarantee you that John Chavis won't be coaching at aTm in 15 yrs...without a doubt.

Yea I feel like we are rehashing Latarian and CheshireCat from 2-3 years ago.....that wasn't a good time for the board...turned out to be a pretty bad look for Arkansas too

I see this going down the same way.

That's hurtful. My participation in this thread regarding one of our more distinguished conference mates is quite sincere.

So...why does LSU have a legacy of underperforming on the offensive side of the ball? Let's brainstorm.

Points Per Play..... Yards Per Play
2005 - 27th... 46th
2006 - 7th... 5th
2007 - 9th... 34th
2008 - 33rd... 67th
2009 - 44th... 87th
2010 - 31st... 68th
2011 - 7th... 36th
2012 - 48th... 74th
2013 - 9th... 12th
2014 - 78th... 71st

So your 'legacy of underperforming' is only seen in 2008-10, 2012, and 2014. Now, let's brainstorm. What do those years have in common?

2008 - Jarrett Lee - 2nd year QB
2009 - Jordan Jefferson - 2nd year QB
2010 - Jordan Jefferson - 3rd year QB
2012 - Zach Mettenberger - 2nd year QB
2014 - Anthony Jennings - 2nd year QB

I'd say 4/5 qualifies as a trend. aTm had a 2nd year QB this year as well. Kenny Hill. How did he do once SEC West play started?

Ok, so legacy wasn't the correct term. Let's say it's a trend then, is that a fair statement?

And wasn't the word legacy directed at the coordinators not the overall program. If so then it is correct, right?

The truth does hurt bro....but you can turn it around. You guys can start acting like fans of a team that actually has, can, and will have a tremendous amount of success. The other option is to continue to do what you do know and act like fans that are jealous of fans of teams that actually have, can, and will obtain real success.

You have a choice.

Was he ever able to flip that linebacker from UL-L?

Sure. It's a trend that young QBs don't do well in the SEC. This isn't specific to LSU.

Then your legacy would amount to Gary Crowton.

Auburn posters in particular are always very salty over this.

I can't imagine why.......

I mean this isn't anything to anchor. The coach left for the NFL. That's it. No NCAA. No hookers. No blow. Coach took a promotion. Yet someone saw for to anchor it.......

shite like this is why I don't post here any more. Thank God for the team boards.
