It actually took place OFF the field, when in December 2011, seven BCS Human Poll voters actually DROPPED 12-1 3rd ranked Oklahoma State to 5th or 6th AFTER they had destroyed former #1 Oklahoma to win the Big 12 Championship.

This ensured that Saban's lobbying at the SECCG and in NY and also the media's puzzling desire for a "DO-OVER" and these 7 voters' power 'hey-look-at-me' attitude would vault the 3rd place SEC team OVER a 12-1 Conference Champion (with a much better and stronger SOS than alabama - supposedly a BCS hallmark calculation) into a farce of a match-up and thus penalize the season-long #1 team and SEC Champion.

Two questions:
(1) Why even """""""""""" PLAY """""""""""""" the SEC Championship Game if the #3 team in the SEC was allowed to play the team it had lost to at HOME head-to-head in the NATIONAL championship game ??????????????????????????????????????

(2) Why was Michigan not given a """ DO-OVER """
in the 2006 BCSNCG in January, 2007 vs Ohio State ???????????????????????????????????
