Once Chavis left for A&M LSU was out and it was down to A&M and TCU. Two weeks before NSD he became a silent commit to A&M.

He has said over and over that Chavis was a big reason why he picked A&M in the end.



Glad y'all could win one against the best program in Texas. When Lsu is not involved I tend to root for the underdog and to see a middling state school go up against the big boys and pull one out is fun to see.

Here's a fact:

Strong signed 5 guys that had been offered by A&M. (4 of whom we were actively recruiting when they committed).

A&M signed at least 14 guys that were offered by Strong.

Lol at TCU being the best program. They can't fill their small stadium consistently or recruit a top 25 class.

They have the best coach in the state, and probably the best team in the state, but not the best program in the state.
