Not losing to inferior opponents like FL and USCe so we can be legit, dominant contenders for our own conference championship would help.

Above Has very little to do with recruiting. It has to do with selling sizzle, playing time early, NFL career, and random intangibles.

Yep, we have always been 1 or 2 inexplicable wins away from a championship level team. We were actually one clutch play away from winning one in 2012 and simply couldn't get it done. It's a shame because that would likely have made a huge difference in our future recruiting.
