The Starkville High School coach is an Ole Miss homer. He has tried to send every good player he ever coached there unless they already had their mind made up. He isn't dirty, he just loves Ole Miss. Known him and his family for awhile now.

I also told a friend of mine months ago (after Stark won the State Championship)that I wouldn't be surprised to see something like this happen. Again, he's a great guy other than loving Ole Miss.

Dude every highschool coach in the state is dirty. It comes with not fulfilling your dreams in life, they can't help it.

No, he isn't, and he went to State.

And this narrative that coaches push kids to certain schools or have a meaningful impact on their decision is very dumb.
