He also never had an offense that averages over 30 points a game. I really don't get where the insecurity complex with LSU fans comes from.

Really? He had Peyton Manning as his QB. His offense never averaged over 30ppg?

2009: 24.8 ppg
2010: 29.7 ppg
2011: 35.7 ppg
2012: 29.8 ppg
2013: 35.8 ppg
2014: 27.6 ppg

We aren't lighting the scoreboards up but during his time as DC at LSU.. LSU averaged 30.5 ppg
