Sorry to hear about this, Spunk. May God grant you and his family peace as only He can.

Lost both of my grandparents (only ones I ever knew) in 2012, then my mother died unexpectedly in 2013 (my father passed in 2002, a few months before my wedding). I'm familiar with loss at this point. You'll always have moments where you think back on the things said and unsaid, and it will hurt. But it will be easier to cope with as time passes.

Prayers for you and for the new addition you'll be welcoming soon. It'll be the greatest joy (and some of the hardest work) you'll ever know.

Thanks buddy, I'm getting more and more nervous as the days pass about trying to be the best father I can. I know alot comes instinctively, but that doesn't make it easier for me, now, sitting here without a clue in the world on how to raise a child. It's an adventure that I'm ready for tho. We're already playing together. She just happens to be in my wife's belly. We wale her up sometimes when she starts kicking to hard, but that's about the best way to be woken up if you ask me.
