Damn Southeast Missouri looks NICE. Never been to that part. Just 1-44 going to STL and SWMO(Springfield/Branson/Joplin). I've never been down the I-55 part of the state. Love the swamp and cotton pics.

Yeah ive never visited Southeast Missouri either but I would love to go and see the Francois mountains, elephant rocks, johnson shut-ins etc, as well as the swamps and cotton fields.

Grandparents used to run a campground and floats on the Black River, further south than Lesterville.

Don't disagree (I'm from Kennett) but the bootheel is probably the flattest part of the state.

I love the Lake of the Ozarks area (Tablerock, Stockton Dam, etc). Best kept secret in 'Merica
