Everything St. Louis and south on line bordered by I-44. The area bordered between I-44 and I-70 would be second. The rest is farm land like Iowa.
The Ozarks are great. Places like Johsnon's Shut-In's and Lesterville are great camping / float trip areas.

Starting around Truman lake and go south. Like the areas around Thayer and Bull Shoals also.

Some of the river bluff areas are really cool, going north out of KC clear to the Nebraska/Iowa line along the river is beautiful in the fall. I hunt mushrooms all up and down the Missouri River in the spring so you get to see all the dogwoods, plum and redbuds in bloom for 1-2 weeks. When you're on the bottoms some of the Cottonwood and Sycamores are truly giant when compared to trees growing else where. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)
