Wow - 14 pages and only 2 Bammers. Kinda impressed.

Alabama is clearly #1 in football and is in the top 1/3 in basketball and baseball. We have been consistently solid in both sports but have never gotten over the hump (FF in BBALL, CWS Title in Baseball). So we have been good for longer than most, but others have reached higher heights.

The Alabama basketball teams of the 80's and baseball teams of the 90's were elite, but they never broke the glass ceiling. Since then both have been solid but never gotten close to the level we reached in those periods.

So in conclusion, this conversation is the definition of OHMYGAWD MY TEAM IS BETTER LOOK AT MY HANDPICKED STATS.

Wow. So elite to you is never making an elite 8 in the ncaa tourney during the era you mentioned and never winning a cws?

Football? Yes. You aren't top 4 im basketball and you arent top 6 in baseball. The only people that think bama is top 3 in basketball and baseball is gumps.

Bama has 1 elite 8 appearance in the entire history of the ncaa tourney and bama has never won a national title in baseball.

Exactly, it's pretty short-sighted to say final fours aren't as important as Bama beating LSU basketball more in the 60s

definitely not going through all of these pages of useless bs. LSU and Bama are both in the top 1/3 in the "Big 3"
