What about equal protection of fathers to be, in relation to women who have abortions? Are their rights being violated under the 14th amendment when they have no say in the pregnancy?

How are the fathers rights being violated? I'm no expert in abortion law, but hasn't it been standard practice that in the case of pregnancy that the woman has the final say since she is the one actually carrying the child? I honestly don't know but don't think this applies to the question of gay marriage.
