College basketball is painful for me to watch after watching so much NBA. I prefer college football to the NFL, but it's tough to watch such sloppy basketball at the college level.

Honestly this is what bugs me most about a lot of Byrne's hires. Especially for sports without strong fan support, you need to consider how to build that fanbase. Winning does that. But being mediocre while playing a pleasing style can too. Think Coach G
Turgeon, Kennedy, Childress...they play a style that is just awful for fans so they better win...a lot.

Turge won more but there's a reason our crowds dwindled during his tenure despite winning. He started off with BCG's guys that played with so much heart you had to root for them and slowly transitioned us to watching paint dry
