Did you watch the game? Oregon drove it down the field on their first drive. They didn't have a minus yardage play on the drive. On the second drive, on third and maybe four, Mariota hit his WR between the numbers...........and he dropped it. On their third drive, on third down, Mariota hit a wide open guy 40 plus yards down the field, in his hands.....and he dropped it. Oregon shot themselves in the foot more than what tOSU was doing on D.
