Way to deep for a materialistic superficial old frick like me. Got to leave saving the world to youngsters that have the time and energy to do it.

I think you're confusing heady with Bohemian, maybe.

Heady: rash; hasty; precipitate; disposed to rush forward in an enterprise without though or deliberation. Webster's Unabridged, 2nd Edition.

I'm not talking about an official, Webster's definition.

I still dress FAF and work in tProfession, I just listen to the Grateful Dead a lot, don't watch Fox News, prefer Mexican beer (besides Miller Lite), love to fish, etc.

It was a stupid post. Ignore it.

For the most part, I listen to studio recordings of jam band songs.

A lot of the Dead's stuff is, plain and simple, smooth rock and roll.

Exhibit A

Exhibit B

So gun-nuts, I gots a question: anyone mount a red-dot on their handguns? Thinking about getting a Trijicon RMR flush mounted along with suppressor sights...other than the Trijicon any other brands I should look at?

Haven't done a red dot, but I put lasers on these two this weekend:

Next up is making semi-night sights on the Beretta with some Europium paint.

Looks like a good set up. I have a buddy here in the Jackson area that is a gunsmith and will modify my slide & install the suppressor sights for a $150 plus the cost of the RMR. He also has the machine that will mold a custom holster if you have add-ons.

Custom holster... point me in his direction, please. I found one for the Sig, but I'm hard pressed to find one for the Beretta. $150 for that work isn't bad at all.

It is pretty slick. He takes your gun as you have it configured (ie. the 92FS with the light & laser) sticks it in his machine and it will mold the plastic exactly as it needs to be. Shoot me an email at *************.

That doesn't make you "heady." Just cool as frick, man. Bonus points for fly fishing and if you drive an old truck. Don't take stock in CNN and MSNBC, either.

Mint in Ridgeland. Meh. Used to be better.

Yeah Mint used to be better. Don't go too often because not long after they opened I went with Mrs. ABears and the bartender said something rather snarky about her drink selection. Needless to say even though they offered to comp our next meal we have never been back. So now I have only gone with clients.

You should have gone to the I-55 side and hit R'evolution. The whole fish is awesome and so is the Oysters R'evolution with their sorbet mignonette!

I always try to give Mint and Julep business because I went to OM with the owner, but that seafood place keeps popping up on here and getting good reviews, so I'll try it next time.

I'm slightly hungover in the library. The bar I went to last night had $2 Tecate cans, so why the frick not.

Plans tonight? This weekend?

I'm helping AC's bitch arse move tomorrow

Going home and helping my bro-in-law build me a farmhouse style dining room table. Picking up the 8/4 American Black Walnut in a bit.

Also, probably hang out with high school friends, drive around on back roads, shoot some shite, and thereafter get drunk on Bud Light and Jim Beam around a fire on someone's farm.
